1) How much can I borrow?
It depends on the type of loan you are interested in. Our loans start at $5000 for an MCA advance to a SBA backed commercial real estate loan for up to $10,000,000.
2) How much does it cost?
The overall cost or amount owed to the lender depends on many factors, which is also disclosed during the financing process and your final acceptance. Some factors that affect the cost are; lender selected, type of loan, your credit score, loan length, your bank statement history and past business performance.
3) What are the fees for our service?
There are no fees charged to you for my services. My services are paid by the lender and vary based loan type, loan amount and other industry-related stipulations that are explained prior to acceptance.
4) What are the interest rates charged?
South Florida Funding Group works with you and our lending partners to get you the lowest interest rates possible. Interest rates are established by the lender and are derived by their calculation of risk associated with them getting repaid. Keep in mind this is negotiable prior to acceptance.
5) How long does the approval and funding process take?
The online request takes you only a few minutes. Once received, one of our representatives will be in touch with you by phone or email to obtain further information. Approvals by our lending partners usually happen within 24-48 hours. Once approved, the time span varies (depending on loan type) but normally you will receive the funding within 48-72 hours.
6) What are the basic requirements for MCA advance?
- 3 months in business
- $5000 per monthly sales.
- Completed and signed application.
- 3 months bank statements and/or 2 months credit card statements.
- Valid driver's license and voided company check.
- (Other loan programs require more documentation)
7) I have been turned down recently will that hurt my approval process?
That may not play a major role in our lenders’ decision process. South Florida Funding Group offers many different lending products and we utilize many different lending partners, each with a different risk profile. Our lenders tend to accept more risk giving a beneficial cost can be determined by both parties.
8) Do you offer start-up business loans?
If most situations our lenders do provide business start-up loans. Our lending partner prefer businesses who have been in business a minimum of 3 months, however, exceptions are made for business owners with a strong financial and business acumen.
9) Do I need to provide collateral or sign personally?
For MCA’s, Unsecured Loans or Credit Lines you do not need to provide collateral or a personal signature. For SBA Loans and Secured Loans or Credit Lines, collateral or a personal signature would be needed for the loan. The size of the loan also plays a role in needing a signature or collateral.
10) What is the repayment process for an MCA and do I need to accept credit cards or change my processor?
For unsecured business loans or lines of credit, the lender will pull a very small, pre-agreed upon small amount from your bank account daily or weekly, you will barely notice it. Our lending partners will work with you regarding a flexible repayment structure that fits your needs. For an MCA, our lending partner will hold back a percentage on your weekly credit card sales in the form of a fee to pay back the Merchant Cash Advance or MCA. Again, this small amount is pre-determined by you and our lending partner you select. There is a weekly holdback taken until the loan is paid off.
11) Can I pay back the advance or loan early?
Yes, most lenders will accept payment in full at any time during the term of your loan without penalty.
12) Do I have to accept credit cards?
No. Accepting credit cards is not a requirement of funding. However, if you do, our lenders have working relationships with many different processors so you will not have to change your current system. Our lending partners have the ability to also set you up with an ACH or a lockbox program. Our lending partners are flexible and are willing to work with you and minimize any disruption to your business operation.
